Hi! I’m Jessica Guzman, a Registered Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #14364 and Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #14966, and I am supervised by Chheng Ear, MSW, LCSW #28984. I hold a Master’s degree in Counseling with dual emphases in Marriage and Family Therapy and Professional Clinical Counseling. I also hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling and Child Welfare and Attendance.
I specialize in supporting K–12 students and individuals who are navigating the early stages of their academic or personal journeys. My areas of focus include school-related challenges, anxiety, grief, life transitions, peer relationships, executive functioning, behavioral issues, and stress experienced by first-generation students. I am passionate about providing culturally responsive care and hold a deep commitment to supporting the Latine/x community and LGBTQIA+ youth as an affirming ally.
In therapy, I strive to create a warm, safe, and collaborative space where clients feel seen and supported. I draw from person-centered therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), family systems therapy, and Bowenian approaches to tailor each session to your unique story and goals.
Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and care. When I’m not working, you can usually find me browsing the library or cozied up at home playing video games.
