Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #143589, Supervised by Corrine Chheng Ear LCSW #28984

Antoinette is a compassionate and experienced Associate Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to supporting children, teens and families in their growth and healing. She has over 4 years of specialized training in working with children and is a mother herself. Antoinette creates a playful, nurturing space for kids to process big feelings and build resilience.

She brings this empathy and real-life wisdom to her work, partnering closely with caregivers to navigate the ups and downs of family life. Antoinette believes in empowering parents with practical tools and insights to support their child's wellbeing beyond the therapy room.

Antoinette's therapeutic approach centers play, art, and sand tray techniques that help kids communicate in their natural language. She is skilled in treating anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma, always through a culturally-sensitive, strengths-based lens. Antoinette recognizes the transformative power of the parent-child bond and includes parents and siblings as essential partners in the healing process.

Most recently, Antoinette served as the sole school-based mental health clinician for San Leandro Unified School District, where she provided individual and family therapy for students facing emotional and behavioral challenges. She collaborated with school staff, caregivers, and community providers to weave a supportive web around each child. Antoinette has also worked in county mental health and university settings, giving her a wide-angle view of child and family thriving.

Antoinette holds a master's degree in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley and a bachelor's in Psychology from San Francisco State University. She has pursued extensive post-graduate training in attachment-focused models like Child-Parent Psychotherapy, as well as trauma-responsive approaches such as Trauma-Focused CBT and Trauma-Informed Care.
